The photo shown below is Miss A (our first grandchild) many years ago as toddler. Today she turned 20!
Very much the young lady with a job, boyfriend and car. Where have the years gone?
I spoke to her briefly this afternoon, before phoning the next one.
The other birthday belongs to DD's son, Master L. He turned 11 and was our 6th grandchild, being one in a line of 7 boys, before we had 2 more granddaughters.

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to all. Wouldn't mind 37 degrees . . . Bitterly cold but raining. If it freezes tonight then everywhere will be like an ice-rink in the morning.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jayne. You wouldn't like that heat, but a little bit for you would be good and then that means a little cooler for us (giggle). Sharing is 'good'. It's 15 & raining whilst I'm eating brekky, so much more bearable. Hope you don't get a big freeze.
DeleteNo really, I ~would~ like that heat, in fact, I adore it and have occasionally wondered if (when young enough to do these things) I should have moved to Spain or somewhere with reliable warmth.
