MARCH PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT.

Better late than never. I suppose.  Life has been a tad tedious & difficult of late with lots going on in the wide world, but I've missed my blogging circle, so am back at the computer with the Hunt.

Joining in with the lovely Kate at I live, I love, I craft.

1.   HOLE.
A "hole" in the rocks off Walkerville Beach.

2.   MAKING.
The toy steam train Hubby is busy building in his shed.

3.   READING NOW.
Reading, to learn how to use this more complicated program
                                                         for my quilt designing.

4.   BLACK & WHITE.
Some of the magpies who frequent our back yard.

5.   STARTS WITH AN......H.
Whitby Harbour taken whilst holidaying in UK.

6.   MY OWN CHOICE.
I love this sign outside the cafe at Willow Grove.

OK, that's it from me for this month and hopefully I'll be back next month with a little more energy, less pain & a more spirited hunter within me.
Take care all & huggles.
Susan.

  2. Glad you were able to join in. Years ago I got a copy of EQ4 and did use it once or twice but it was not not me. God luck with it! The steam train is looking fabulous, my favourite photo by the way.

    1. Thanks M. I'll admit to liking my Quit Wizard best or graph paper, pen & coloured pencils, but I'm determined to get the best from this, as I've had it for quite a while. Steam train is now finished.

    1. Thanks Carol. It's really Kate who spurs us on & this lot for me came mainly from my archives, except the reading & making, which were taken about a week before the end date, & I'm running late for the month.

  5. So sorry you're having a bad time at present - I was just about to send out a search party, I think this is the first time you have ever been late for the Photo Challenge :-(

I gave up Electric Quilt at version 6, it has become too big, too feature laden and bloated, and I'm just not making block-based quilts any more. Up until about version 4.0 it was fabulous though - good luck with it. huggles. J. xx

    1. Thanks Jayne, but I'm really OK, just the good old back & ribs as usual, but sometimes it gets to me more than other times, especially when I hurt the back doing some simple gardening. As for EQ6, I've had it for ages, but they say you should keep learning, so here goes. I'll keep trying for now.

  7. I hope you're feeling better soon. We were on Whitby Harbour last week, though it wasn't bathed in sunshine as it is in your photo.

  8. Pleased to 'see' you Susan. Love your collection this month. BB was just admiring the wooden train. He loved his woodwork in SA. Amazed at your Magpies, they look quite different from ours in the UK. Keep well (and cool - could send you some cooler weather in exchange!)

    1. Thanks Carol. The train is finished & our magpies are a completely different type than yours. Our weather has been very up & down, with some cooler days, though we are in for a few more very warm ones next weekend, so I'll send some sun over.

    1. Thanks Kate. Wish I had a puppy to park. Back is feeling a lot better, but I'll need to work out different ways to do things, so I don't hurt it again.
