FRIDAY PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT - MOON.

 

Running a bit late and also low on morale at the moment due to the ever threatening virus, I  nearly didn't link up with Kate at I live, I love, I craft I am me.  I had to dip into the archives for moon photos & found very few, so bear with me on this hunt.  I found 3, one of which has been on before.

Firstly two moon shots taken at night.  The dates may not be accurate, but approximate & I just know I must have fancied them when outside in the dark.

I think this was taken around March 2015 and must have been while we were living in Ballarat & possibly was when we had a " moon" event.
                              I loved the glow around this one which was taken last year in July.


My favourite is this one taken in June 2019 when a decidedly scary noise was coming from outside & to my amazement this balloon was overhead & I was lucky to capture it with the moon.  
All from me today and I'm off to link up & see what the others have found.

PS......it's very hot here and as we've had a very up and down summer of temperatures, I'm really feeling it and we are supposed to reach 41 degrees on Monday.  Way to hot!  I'll try and keep on blogging although it all seems too hard at the moment.😳

    That's my favourite too, a great shot. It would be good if we could have a little of each other's weather, we've woken up to a hard frost this morning. I wouldn't say no to it being a little warmer.

      Thanks Jo. Gladly send you some warmth, but it all seems crazy as we had snow in the high country after Xmas & now this heat.

    I'm so glad you did take part. 41 IS too hot. We had 40 in Greece once and I couldn't move. x

      Thank you. As well as uncomfortable, I fear fires & although I'm a born & bred Aussie, I'm terrified of fire weather.

    Love the moon with the balloon picture. I sometimes think it is easier to see the moon in daytime here as it is often shrouded with cloud at night. I sympathise with the 40 deg + temperatures. Real Kariba weather but there we had the wind blowing off the water to help cool us down. Keep cool and cheerful. Can't let Covid 19 get us down. Yes as M said above, we should swap weather. Snow this morning though it has more or less melted. At least we are not flooded out here as are people in other parts of the UK. Keep well and cheerful. xx

      Thanks Carol. As long as it doesn't get windy or dry thunderstorms with lightening which start so many of our fires. Tuesday is supposed to be a lot better & it is a public holiday for Australia Day.

    Another vote here for your moon and balloon photo, it's great, and it's just made me thing of the autobiography written by the actor David Niven years ago - The Moon's A Balloon :-)

    Lovely photos, the moon and balloon one is super. I too remember the David Niven book. Coincidentally when I spoke to my cousin on Christmas Eve she mentioned that she had the book and that I'd loaned it to her over twenty years ago. I told her she could keep it:)
