Linking with Cheryl from Meadow Mist the the month linkup for our favourite finish.
These two quilts have been made, quilted, bound and given to their recipients during this strange and surreal time of this worldwide pandemic crisis. They share the same pattern I created in 2008 when I first purchased my Quilt Wizard program. Lacking motivation for doing much during the last few months, I'm actually pleased I did at least achieve 2 finishes. The above went to a baby born in January and the one below to a baby born in mid March. Just a short post and off to do the linky thing.
Take care all, stay safe & hugs from down under.
Susan.
Baby quilts are always a great finish! Even better when there are new babies to give them to!
ReplyDeleteLovely and I'm sure they will be treasured by the two new Mums.
ReplyDeleteThanks Eileen & they both loved them.
DeleteSuch beautiful gifts for a new baby, I'm sure they'll be cherished.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo. Can't wait to be able to cuddle these babies.
DeleteLovely baby gifts, I'm sure they will eventually become family heirlooms, Take care:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rosie. I know my grandkids & great nieces & nephews still use & have theirs. Some are teenagers now too.
DeleteBaby quilts are such a joy to make aren't they. I once backed one with the softest prettiest fleece and it became a firm favourite.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cherie, they are. My first ever quilt, now long gone, had a fleece backing too.
DeleteThe baby quilts look lovely, great gifts.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thanks Jan. Good gifts, because they also get finished & used.
