LOOK AT THIS!!!!!

It   "SNOWED"  today.

The courtyard with snow flurriesand not much else at the moment.
Just a couple more pictures.

Looking over to the reserve.
"Icing" on the hedge.
It wasn't very much, but it was snow.  The Eastern Rosellas were still out and about, even though it was flipping cold.

There were two, but on opposite sides of the tree.

Now for a finish.

Hubby's ripple rug.

Just a quick one to show that we do get cold here in Oz.  Ballarat very rarely gets snow, but there it is.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Take care.
Susan.

  3. Hi Susan,
I was over visiting Jo's blog at through the keyhole when I spotted your post about snow and had to to find out where it was that was having snow in August. I don't quilt myself (yet) it is on the to do list to learn at some stage. I am off to a festival of quilts exhibition next week to give me some encouragement.

    1. Thanks for popping in again Mitzi. I do hope you enjoy the festival in Birmingham and hope it inspires you to start quilting soon. It can be rather addictive and you won't get as much reading done.(giggle).

  4. And a nice warm afghan makes it perfect. Everything looks lovely to me. I love snow, usually.

  5. Your Hubby's ripple rug is great Susan, such good colours, well done! I thought it was cold here but not quite cold enough for snow, although we have had hail a few times. That poor Rosella looks like its shivering - I'm glad you have your blankets to keep snuggled under. Our mornings are starting to lighten up a little wee bit quicker now so looks like the turn is on its way. Have a lovely Sunday, xoJoy

  6. Thanks Joy, yes, and it's still cold with -4 again this morning. The birds were all puffed up keeping out the cold I think.
